St. John’s receives three honors in 42nd Annual Healthcare Advertising Awards
Rochester, N.Y. — St. John’s is pleased to announce that it has received three top honors in the 42nd Annual Healthcare Advertising Awards. Entries were received from over 4,300 healthcare and medical institutions across the country, making the awards the largest and the most well recognized healthcare advertising awards competition. A national panel of judges were engaged in reviewing all entries based on creativity, quality, message effectiveness, consumer appeal, graphic design and overall impact.
St. John’s was among only 267 entries from across the country to get a Silver Award for its work in partnership with Tanya Space Design to develop St. John’s Living Newsletter.
St. John’s was among only 178 entries from across the country to get a Bronze Award for its big birthday kick-off bash at Frontier Field in partnership with an in-season Red Wings Game in July to start 125 days until St. John’s official anniversary. The celebration footage was compiled into an event video that featured the creative, in-house video work of St. John’s Assistant Director of Marketing Tom Harner.
Also, the in-house video work of St. John’s Marketing Coordinator Olivia Bailey in celebration of St. John’s 125th anniversary received a Merit Award for the video “Happy Birthday St. John’s.” This video featured staff members and residents from across our system of care delivering birthday greetings to St. John’s. This video was shown at St. John’s 125th Birthday Party held at St. John’s Home in November 2024.
According to award contest organizers, “it was forty-two years ago that this national competition began its efforts to recognize the field of healthcare marketing and advertising. Today, the industry has matured into a sophisticated and competitive field.”
