Bright Spot: St. John’s Volunteers
St. John’s Meadows and Brickstone by St. John’s residents were featured on 13WHAM’s Bright Spot following the annual Volunteer Luncheon.
At this year’s luncheon, independent living residents who volunteer at St. John’s were treated to a delicious meal and great conversation. The guest speaker for this year was 13WHAM’s Don Alhart. The longtime news anchor and reporter spoke to residents about his illustrious career, and he even asked them for advice ahead of his own approaching retirement.
Alhart shared some of the advice he was given as well as photos from the lunch on a recent Bright Spot.
“Thanks for the encouragement,” said Alhart. “Congratulations to all honored for their service to others.”
