Reservoir Renaissance: Small Home Renovations

Our Reservoir 5 neighborhood has gone through a beautiful renaissance! This 14-room small home located in our Skilled Nursing community has been renovated with upgrades and individualized décor. The doors have officially opened on the Apple Blossom neighborhood for new residents to live in private rooms and larger suite options. Each room is fully furnished and decorated.

This is the next phase in our overall urban small home renovation plan that began in 2016. Each home includes: a living area, dining room, open kitchen concept, and decentralized staff support spaces. The current elevator lobbies will be converted into small welcoming foyer spaces to evoke the same feeling as a home entryway.

While touring Reservoir 5 you will notice not only rejuvenated spaces but small detailed touches that truly make it feel like home. Flames flicker in our cozy fireplace in the living room alongside a large screen television and a bookshelf filled with reading options. Mailboxes reminiscent of classic ‘30s and ‘40s styles sit outside each room for personal mail to be delivered. Each room features different décor colors and styles to meet their owner’s unique taste. We pursue individualized solutions to meet not only care goals but meaningful and consistent resident experiences.

Come see the updates on Reservoir 5 by reaching out to Kristin Coffie, admissions manager, at 585-760-2400 or by emailing her. Act fast as our individualized options will go quickly! We are excited to begin the next phase of our renovations at St. John’s and look forward to the positive changes for our residents and families.
