St. John’s Meadows dining and Joey B’s at Brickstone are among the featured fare options in “Outstanding Food,” which appears in the September/October issue of 55 Plus Magazine. The article focuses on the world of dining in senior living communities.

Tony Zaccaglino, dining service manager for St. John’s independent living communities, discusses how he customizes dining options to fit what residents want. According to Zaccaglino, they talk and he listens. The way he takes care of the residents pays off. “I could not be happier here,” Zaccaglino says. “It’s like having 400 grandparents.”

Chef Joseph Brophy of Joey B’s at Brickstone discusses his background and the high level of quality of the food he serves. According to Brophy, this commitment to excellence and his partnership with St. John’s have helped him cater to this whole new senior market. “It’s a perfect demographic,” Brophy says.
