St. John’s Celebrates How Our Residents “Age My Way” During Older Americans Month

May is Older Americans Month (OAM), a national celebration established in 1963 to acknowledge the contributions of past and current older persons to our country, in particular those who defended the nation. Here at St. John’s, we celebrate and honor older adults and all their contributions every day. And we will contribute to this national observation by spotlighting throughout this month, how our residents Age My Way, the 2022 OAM theme. We will also exemplify our mission as we lift our voices to help ensure all older adults can enjoy their right to essential services as they age.

St. John’s offers a full spectrum of innovative services that help older adults embrace living at every stage of life—all delivered by experienced, caring people in dynamic, community-centered environments. While getting older may not be optional, choosing to embrace life in all its richness is—no matter your age. St. John’s is here to help you do just that, offering all the senior services you need to live a life that’s as active and fulfilling as possible, both right now, and down the road should your needs change.

Even as our compassionate and trained staff ensure our residents thrive, too many older adults and their families face difficulties finding services or support that exactly match their needs. Our federal lawmakers need to hear from us with a plea for them to take action immediately to expand access to care and services.

Want to join our celebration?  Follow along on our social media platforms to participate virtually.

It is both our mission and our joy to provide expert, quality care to all our residents, whom we honor during Older Americans Month and every day.

Thank you for letting us support you (and your family) as you Age My Way!
