‘Crafty Ladies’ at St. John’s Meadows Help the Rochester Community

The “Crafty Ladies”—a small but mighty group of St. John’s Meadows residents—recently made yet another donation to charitable groups supporting Rochesterians in need.

In 2021 alone, the Crafty Ladies donated almost 20 large bags of crocheted items to Golisano Children’s Hospital, the Open Door Mission, St. John’s Foundation, Lollypop Farm and various Veterans charities across our region.

The group is already off to a fast start hand-making items for donation in 2022. For well over two decades the “Crafty Ladies” have been a shining example of independent living residents from St. John’s—with coordination and other support from St. John’s Meadows volunteer services—making a difference in the Greater Rochester community.
