A Unique Rehabilitation Opportunity at St. John’s
An exclusive program offered at St. John’s Rehabilitation Center is allowing family members of our short-term guests to observe physical therapy sessions from just a few feet away.
“She was surprised and delighted,” said Lisa Martin after speaking with and observing her mother during her first window visit last week. “To be able to actually see her progress, it’s really encouraging and I feel great peace of mind.” WROC-TV spoke with Lisa following her second visit– likely her last before her mother Jean is discharged back home.
St. John’s is the only skilled nursing rehabilitation program in the area currently offering weekly window visits. The idea is to help provide rehab guests with extra motivation and personal connection while visitation restrictions prohibit in-person visits.
