Rehab Administrator Earns ‘Fast Start’ Feature

Since Ashley Daggett transitioned to rehabilitation administrator at St. John’s in January 2018, her expertise has sparked many positive improvements to the department.  Her unique career history and the success she has enjoyed in her current role earned Ashley recognition as this week’s Rochester Business Journal “Fast Start” professional.

The RBJ article notes that the impact of Daggett’s leadership has influenced a greater focus on the needs of today’s rehab consumer and resulted in great improvement in the overall patient experience. “Since taking on this position, Daggett has introduced beauty and barbershop appointments for residents, ‘because when you look good, you feel good,’ she vows. She also executed a transportation system so that case managers and discharge planners at hospitals do not have to sort out how to get a resident from the hospital to St. John’s for rehab. We’ve been helping promote our reputation and implementing customer service strategies that keeps us cutting edge and make St. John’s an even more desirable place to choose for rehab.”

Although Ashley took on the challenge of overseeing rehabilitation services at St. John’s, she continues to lead the Lilac neighborhood at St. John’s Home. She oversees over 100 employees at St. John’s.
