Author Thelma Reese Returns to St. John’s

For the second time in just over three years, St. John’s hosted author Thelma Reese for a special book discussion and signing. Reese shared her insights on the book The New Senior Man: Exploring New Horizons, New Opportunities. She had previously visited St. John’s in 2015.

“We were honored to host Thelma this afternoon to discuss her newest book,” said St. John’s Vice President of Senior Housing Paul Bartlett. “Today was extra special since our very own Dick Gollin is featured in The New Senior Man.”

Gollin’s story is featured in Chapter 6, where he discusses the challenges that come with aging in stride. As a retired University of Rochester English professor, he shares his and his wife’s journey from their three-story home to their bungalow at St. John’s.
