Brickstone Residents Celebrate 70 Years of Marriage
Brickstone by St. John’s residents Dick and Joyce Clements celebrated 70 years of marriage on Wednesday, June 1!
The Clements invited staff and friends to join them with their family for a lively celebration at their bungalow. In honor of their special day, the couple even received a signed letter from the President and First Lady.
The secret to a successful 70 year marriage? Dick says “Don’t fret it. You take the days as they come. You do the best that you can.” Joyce says with a smile “pick the right guy!” The couple met at a Valentine’s Day party at the University of Nebraska where they coincidentally exchanged paper hearts.
