Embrace Living with Reva: Opera Lovers Unite

opera

On a recent Saturday afternoon, myself and residents of St. John’s Meadows and Brickstone by St. John’s made our way together to the Tinseltown Theater in Gates to enjoy the wonderful performance of Bizet’s Les Pêcheurs de Perles (The Pearl Fishers) which was simulcast direct from the Met.

It was the first time in one hundred years that Les Pêcheurs de Perles had been performed by the Metropolitan Opera House. What a thrilling performance, and what a warm feeling of togetherness we experienced afterward as we shared our enthusiasm and dinner in the Briarwood dining room.

We’re all looking forward to continuing the glow as we plan our future opera outings.
