St. John’s Home Elders Enjoy Wine Tour
St. John’s Home elders enjoyed their very own wine tour on September 3! Staff and volunteers took elders around to five different wine and food stations throughout the ground floor of St. John’s Home, laughing and talking as they did so.
Elders enjoyed wines from all over the world, each paired with complementary food samplings.
At the United States themed station, elders sampled hot popcorn with their wine. There was plenty of chocolate at the Germany station, and hot meatballs were featured at the Italy station.
The Spain themed station offered Spanish bread, while elders sampled cheese with their wine at the France themed station.
St. John’s Therapeutic Recreation department once again did a great job organizing a fun event that was enjoyed by all.
