Residents Gather to Watch, Discuss the 2015 White House Conference on Aging

The 2015 White House Conference on Aging was an all-day event putting the issues that impact senior citizens the most in the spotlight. For the first time ever it was streamed live via the internet all day, with speakers ranging on topics from health care to volunteering to government policy.

Residents gathered at the Briarwood Multipurpose Room at St. John’s Meadows to view the conference, and some were even interviewed by local TV news. A viewing party was also held at St. John’s Home.
