Greg O’Brien, award-winning investigative journalist and author of On Pluto: Inside the Mind of Alzheimer’s, comes to Rochester this November with an inspiring message for caregivers and the people who support them!

There are three great ways to participate, all of which are free of charge. Programs and events supported by Lifespan of Greater Rochester, Nazareth University, St. John’s, University of Rochester Aging Institute, and Eastman School of Music’s ENCORE Chorus.

Faith, Hope, and Humor: A Conversation on Living with Dementia

Join professors, students, caregivers, and aging advocates for an engaging and compassionate conversation about the realities of living with dementia. Together, we’ll explore how faith, hope, and humor can foster connection, strengthen resilience, and help individuals and families navigate challenges and realize successes. Featuring Greg O’Brien and a panel of local experts.

Walking Together: Dementia, Caregiving, and Community

An inspiring afternoon for caregivers in the Rochester area. Greg O’Brien brings a heartfelt message about understanding Alzheimer’s from the perspective of the person living with the disease and from the family members who walk beside them. Additional attractions and resources will be available for caregivers at this free event!
