Experience at St. John’s: I have been Vice President of St. John's Meadows and Brickstone Senior Housing since coming to St. John's in 2012.

Past work experience: I was the executive director of Chapel Oaks Senior Retirement Community from ’05-’12. I was operations manager at Ferris Hills Senior Retirement Community for two years. I have also served as district executive chef of ARAMARK, food service director at the Highlands at Pittsford and Park Ridge, and as a chef at the Marriott Hotels.

  • Associate's Degree in Occupational Studies from the Culinary Institute of America ('81)
  • Certification Program in Gerontology from St. John Fisher College ('94)

Awards and celebrations of excellence: 3rd degree black belt in Isshinryu Karate, and member, Alpha Sigma Lambda

Personal life (family and hobbies): I enjoy spending time with my wife of over 25 years, my two sons, and Hunter, our golden retriever. Outside of work, I practice and teach karate, I am a deacon at Perinton Presbyterian Church, hike with the dog, snow ski, play acoustic guitar, listen to music, cheer for the Boston Red Sox, cook at home, and vacation on the beaches of Cape Cod.
