St. John’s Celebrates Senior Health and Fitness Day
St. John’s independent living residents marked National Senior Health and Fitness Day with an informative wellness talk and a game of aquatic volleyball.
St. John’s Wellness Team works closely with the St. John’s Social Recreation Team to ensure residents have plenty of options for prioritizing their health. St. John’s Meadows and Brickstone by St. John’s monthly calendar is packed with specialized wellness talks, cooking demonstrations, chair exercises, resident-run fitness programs, aquatic volleyball, and more.

Fitness classes are adpated to the group of participants depending on mobility and other factors. This means that classes are tailored to best fit groups at the independent and enhanced assisted living levels.
An expansive fitness and wellness calendar is the perfect way for residents to stay healthy, physically and mentally, as well as keep social. The programs at St. John’s are continuously expanding — with a focus on the ways residents can embrace living.
