Infection Control Nurse (Per Diem)

Description
Per Diem position available. Responsible for maintaining the Home's Infection Control Program in the absence of the full time Infection Control Nurse.

Responsibilities
Tracks outbreaks of infectious disease within St. John's Home. Keeps log of active infection control cases, with weekly review to make sure proper precautions are in use. Provides education and support to nursing staff regarding infection control issues.

Qualifications
Must have a current NYS RN License. Must also have previous experience with Infection Control.
