Employee Health Nurse (Per Diem)

Description
Per Diem position available. Responsible for assessing and monitoring the health of employees, in the absence of the full time Occupational Health Nurse.

Responsibilities
Provides pre-employment evaluations and annual health screening to employees. Evaluates and treats ill or injured employees, with referral to private physician, occupational medicine center, or emergency department as appropriate. Evaluates employees prior to their return to work. Monitors employee call ins and approves return to work of those out three or more consecutive days.

Qualifications
Must have a current NYS RN license. Must have prior experience in acute care nursing, prior supervisory experience and strong interpersonal skills.
