Busy May Ahead for St. John’s Home Auxiliary
Several SJH Auxiliary members were recognized at the annual luncheon.

It was great to see so many SJH Auxiliary members at the Annual Volunteer Luncheon. You are well represented in those individuals who received special recognitions (see photos here). Thanks to each of you for all that you do.
There will be lots of things happening in May that I’ll need help with so please check with me to see what volunteer opportunities are available. The Lilac Festival will also be coming up. I’m sure there will be many requests for assistance during festival week. Come and join in the fun!
May Program: A trip to the Laundry!
Please join us on Thursday, May 7 for our monthly SJH Auxiliary meeting and program. We will begin at 11:30 a.m. with a business meeting, followed by a devotion, and then lunch.
We all know how laundry piles up for a family of four or even one, but imagine doing the laundry for a family of four hundred! We’ll get to see how that happens when the SJH Auxiliary heads to the basement to tour the laundry facilities at the home. Join Teresa Ortiz, laundry manager, for this up close and personal look as she shows us what it takes to get the clothes and linens clean.
Reminder
Our June program will include a served luncheon. Reservations and payment will be required in advance of the meeting. Details will be available soon.
Our entertainment that day will be provided by Karen LaBella, singer and guitarist. Karen has a repertoire of over 600 songs. She’ll let us make requests from her extensive song list and we may even get to sing along with her!

There will not be a newsletter in June. Instead you will receive a letter with all the details for our June Luncheon. Hope to see you there! There is no SJH Auxiliary meeting in July. The newsletter will resume for August.
SJH Auxiliary Meetings
